Our Services

Our restorative services include:

  • Dental Fillings: Fillings are restorations that repair and rebuild teeth that have been harmed by cavities. After removing the damaged portion of the tooth, the filling seals out bacteria and protects the tooth, allowing it to function normally.
  • Inlays and Onlays: Inlays and onlays are made from tooth-coloured porcelain, composite resin or even gold. Inlays are custom-fitted to repair decay or damage in the ridges of the teeth. Onlays, also custom-fitted, are used to repair decay and damage that occurs on more than one cusp (point) of the tooth. Each tooth has four points or cusps.
  • Crowns: Dental crowns, or “caps” as some call them, are custom-made covers for teeth that have had a root canal (leaving very little tooth structure), cracked or weakened teeth, or teeth that are so decayed that a regular filling is insufficient.
  • Bridges: A dental bridge is made up of two crowns on either side of the missing tooth that connect to an artificial tooth, called a pontic, in the middle.
  • Dental Implants: Implants are made up of a titanium screw and a post that is covered with a crown, bridge or denture. We affix the implant into the jawbone, where it replaces the tooth root. After several months, the implant attaches to the bone, so it looks and “acts” like a natural tooth.
  • Full and Partial Dentures: Although they’ve been around for ages, today’s dentures are more comfortable and natural-looking than past ones. Dentures can either replace all of your teeth (full dentures) or a few (partial dentures).

Dentistry wasn’t initially on his radar until a relative suggested it might be a good fit. The idea clicked, and Dr Josh soon discovered that dentistry offered the hands-on, mentally stimulating work he craved.

“I also enjoy helping people, and many aspects of being a dentist appealed to me, especially the opportunity to be my own ...
